Could probably get up and running for 1,200-1,500 quid if buying everything but half that if you pick up 2nd hand loft/baskets/clock. There are always plenty of fanciers willing to help out with Yb's for free to, so its a really affordable hobby to get into, though depending on how serious you are, expenses could get out of hand!!

The hen is out of a direct 06 Martha Van Geel Ck and the Ch Ck is from John Frood of Lanark line, he spent a small fortune on them from LPW a few years ago and i was loaned a Ck to pair with a hen of mine that was racing well at the time ( 2003 ) i don't know what lines they were from though.

On the right is my section winner, on the left her ck, both Aarden based doos.
