    Who Her ? :-
  9. Your right there Jim. Lucky if i get half an hour out them then they want down to show up to the opposite sex in the other lofts.
  10. Percy has been above me twice in the last month, they were nesting about 2 miles from me this year and it seems they've hung around. I still let mine out at weekends though, that is my Pleasure at this time of year and i'm no changing for the peregrine.

Big Mary is for the chop tonight
  13. Definitely the best policy, its ok finishing off a youngster from about 15/16 days old but impossible to rear them from birth. You might find locking the hen in the box during the night will help reduce casualties
  14. Cheers
  15. Tells you on the Ad, he lives in Northants, England.
  16. Hi Charles, its freezing up here and its not going anywhere soon!!!! About your loft, i take it from your description it will be about 18ft long, split into 3 Sections, 2 for breeding and one for Young birds you will have plenty of room for 18+ doos. The Aviaries on the ends is a good addition too And a big YES they do take up a lot of your time, especially if you intend racing and winning with them
  17. Just heard Mark McGhee has been sacked by Aberdeen, had to come i guess
  18. My uncle used to eat them when they were culled, long time ago but he swore it was true. I would eat anything, i've eaten wood pigeon and it was delicious so i suppose they're racing cousins would be nice too
  19. Its no looking good Brian, hope they can re-arrange it later in the month if it gets called off.
  20. How many ck's/hens do you have?? Those that don't make the grade are usually lost!! so you'll need to plan some other Xmas dinner
  21. £40 bid.

  24. Ye its no looking too promising the now Brian but i'll give my entries in for Wednesday and see how the weather turns out. Better having your entries in because it'll be a right bummer if fanciers don't put them in and it turns out to be fine on Saturday Think the snow will have given up by midweek so hopefully it'll be ok for travelling.
