  1. Getting back to Joey Barton, would he get a game in Your team??? I'd play him
  2. Just remember every time you take him he will most likely have to avoid predators on the journey home. He only needs to be unlucky Once, then you'll no have him!!
  3. No time for Police involvement ma self, the FA will no doubt throw the book at him because of who he is and his past misdemeanour's and so they should, he canny be treated like a 1st offender and he has to be suspended for weeks. He'll be sick as a parrot himself this morning, but having been in that same position so many times before, he'll no doubrt do the same again next season, if it takes that long!! He just seems no to learn a lesson. I'm also interested to know if Newcastle provide him with counselling on an ongoing basis, because he needs it, if not maybe they will now
  4. That;ll be with Owl communications
  5. Got all my doos out this morning. Filled the bath for them and let them lay about while i cleaned out the lofts. Then work this afternoon, still working in fact but hope to get the nod for a 6pm finish.
  6. I care, c'mon Utd, biggest and Best club in the world
  7. I'd phone the Police for them, did you get the phone number they contacted you from? If so pass it on to them.
  8. Looks like there is a chance i will make it tonight, supposed top be working 'til 8pm but i might get finished for 6pm. If anyone knows the postcode for the club will you put it up for me as i won't have time to drive around looking for the club??
  9. Red.
  10. What is the sequence of colours since 2005? should be able to predict next years colour with that info
  11. I mix everything the birds eat, i usually put 3 separate mixes together, breeding/sport extra/economy in equal amounts. I also mix grits and minerals pink&black together, with various small seeds mixed through it and hormoform, roughly mixed at, 40% grit, 10% minerals, 10% hormoform, 10% peanuts, 10% sunflower hearts and 20% small seeds. I recommend this mixture to anyone, your doos will be running after you and will spread their wings like hungry squeakers when you put a handful of it down for them, they shine like new pennies too
  12. I Hope, i just booked that weekend off work today
  13. It seems to me that you are doing everything correctly with them, from training regime to races. I also think you are correct to send them as far as your young birds are expected to fly. You don't mention if there are bro's or sis's to the latebreds still in your race team who have survived the race program as young birds or if these would be from new pairings selected at the end of Ob racing??
  14. Do you's have your eyes on 1 or more of your young birds and yearlings that you think will be the next star of your loft??. Most years i speculate as to the merits of my Yb's and Y'lings and get my eye on one for the future. This year i had an un raced/trained 09 Latebred Blue Ck that i raced out to Leicester, 248mls, he wasn't in the clock and nor was he ever last home , just steadily in the first 6/10 doos to the loft and never made any mistakes. I think this Ck will do well next season from over 300 miles, he has followed the same pattern as previous latebred pigeons in my loft who have subsequently went on to score well for me, this is why i have my eye on him. What bird/s in your loft do you have your eyes on and why???
  15. Have only ever used Google, to be honest i thought that was the only way to access the internet!! Ma missus told me about Internet Explorer but i just carried on with G,C.
  16. Get your mortgage on Haye inside 3 rounds, i've never seen a bigger coward than Harrison enter a ring. Her will run but Haye will KO him, maybe even in the first round.
  17. I'll be putting ma request in for that day off when i get into work tomorrow. Been to most if not all of them since about 1992, i know they are expecting to be back in the community centre for next year, the revamp of it has run over schedule that is why its down at the masonic hall this year.
  18. They are having it early so they have one this calender year, it preserves the Consecutive status of the show, as the January date was snowed out this year they have moved it forward to December.
  19. INVINCIBLE SPIRIT, or LPW would have paid more for its successor Nearer home, Auld Reekie for W. Kinnear & Son, Brian. He is throwing others to score for fun from the SNFC races and they are always Very near the top of the result. jmo

    X Factor

    Have a look at this
  22. I would take the racer's young bird before the parents, i figure the chances of getting a dud out the stock doos is higher than that of the racer. I am taking this at face value and there is no mention of them having bred any other winners, however the winner has all the winning genes of the parents and is more likely to pass the winning genes on, he/she is now "the tree" and i like my apples close to the tree
  23. The FAULDHOUSE HOMING CLUB ANNUAL SHOW will take place on 4TH DECEMBER 2010 in the MASONIC HALL Fauldhouse. Birds to be penned for 11.30am, judging commences at 12 Noon. Classes are: 1. 300 miles Ck J Mc Neil 2. 300 miles Hn D, Elliot 3. 150 miles Ck J Alston 4. 150 miles Hn H Ferguson 5. Likeliest Old Ck K Droog 6. Likeliest Old Hn J Wilkinson 7. 75 miles Yg Ck J Wilkinson 8. 75 miles Yg Hn K Droog 9. Likeliest Yg Ck D Elliot 10. Likeliest Yg Hn J Alston 11. A A Ck T T W H Ferguson 12. A A Hn T T W. J Mc Neil NOTE: Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 are FLOWN Classes. This will be the 94th CONSECUTIVE show run by the club and i know the lads are desperate to keep it going until AT LEAST its 100th anniversary, so i would ask everyone who can give them an entry to do so, numbers make shows just like races and the more support the show has the more worthwhile it will be to keep it going.
  24. Aye that's what i thought but i wanted to know for sure
  25. I'm wondering what the white sloped part on the front of them is??
