I had a good hen land in north Holland from reims once Dutch distance fancier told me when they come up there in batches they work up and down the coast Choice by that time is hundreds of miles north sea or Denmark he said . I have a fancier friend in the ne he lost good bird from bourges this year It's in Morocco There are chips available that can be downloaded when birds home showing their route National should purchase some give to some top consistent fanciers this giving us an idea of routes taken and problem areas Well done again yesterday

Decided to darken a team of youngster's this year and have a go racing them I've not darkened for a good few years and not raced them the last 2 which I don't think has been one of my best decisions Hatched out beginning of March ,didn't let them out just into aviary/cage I lift onto landing Taught them to trap through Bob's immediately I called on them Out for first time when they were nearly completed the moult on Monday 27th may Dipped them in water and put onto landing with traps shut Sun was to hot and they dried to quickly and were airborne Flew in singles all over Moffat didn't know how to land lol Ended up with 46/49 Since then they batched really quickly and are ranging well Excellent health with being so strong Basket next week Think the major plus is all one age Will not change that system in future Has anyone else tried this

My daughter spoke to a Belgium cattle dealer through her work this morning it is much cooler today with temp of 22 ,23 degrees A stiff north easterly across the north sea tomorrow, our birds have raced in heat for decades eg the summer of 76 There will always be birds on time regardless of conditions Until the clocks are opened we all live our dream of our best putting up a performance to match Good luck to all that wish to lift the ultimate prize Hope your all 2nd lol
