Hear that the RSPB are in negotiations with the BBC to have a memorial service on Xmas day for the falcon if the Queen is willing to drop her slot,Don't they no we have young men being blown to pieces in a far away land that don't receive as many column inches as a f-- bird of prey,they should go under the heading RSPR as raptors seem to be the only thing they are concerned about,yet another case of taxpayers money going up in smoke ,wonder if they would be as keen in prosecuting if they had to dig into there own pockets

I admit to knowing nothing of eye-sign,have entered birds in shows with what i regarded as a good eye and have won with them ,but do not put much importance to them,not many eye-sign experts that have won nationals,for me as long as they have two and they are both focused on the west coast

Have used Easibed for a fair number of years ideal for weaning youngsters into a section and stock,Handy to use in lofts when going on holiday makes the job easy for loft manager just having to water and feed,never use in racing sections during season as i like to keep the loft spic and span,downside trailing it outside and into the house,and since they made the bags smaller it has went up in price.

No 13,What a Wonderful looking pigeon to whoever owns it ?

Having only tried widowhood proper for the first time this year I was more than happy with performance and results,I changed to widowhood to prevent having to basket train because of horrendous losses incurred by the falcon,I got plenty of help and advice from some of the best in the game but found that you must perfect a SYSTEM that suits your work schedule and stick to it ,example 5-30 mornings 5-30 evenings 7 days a week all season no compromise,as for feeding i never broke mine down same all week except last two feeds depending on forecast for weekend be it SW wind or NW wind,i did find that when they were really performing they got as much as they wanted to eat at night then when they were really on top form found it difficult to get them to eat at all,do feel that one of the main factors with the widowers was leaving them to rest all day with no one entering the lofts,everyone to there own can only say i got an enormous amount of satisfaction out of watching them flying freely and would not change back to natural flying under present circumstances,Good Luck to all suppose its whatever system that we find suits our needs and gets us away from the hassle that is WORK!!.

Must Admit,Not being a user of garlic I was very concerned the other day when a question cropped up on basics regarding garlic and not two posts were the same regarding strenght to administer ,I personally feel there should be no need to give birds various products when they are a1 and on song all they need is pure water and corn,terrible loss for this partnership loosing these fantastic birds and really feel for them ,but why o why were they being treated ?
