  1. It has snowed on and off here every day this week with no let up forecast the high hills are pure white got to agree with you all racing should be organised to suit the welfare of the doos as stated yes the seasons are changing for the worse surely common sense should prevail but will it not a hope in hell just because our great ancestors did it this way ,thank christ my youngsters are just hatching out would have hated to be educating them in these conditions ,Good luck to all when summer arrives .
  2. I was at the scotland wales match first game for years was well wrapped up but still got frozen and have felt s--t since knew by what i was watching that yes this is the worst scotland team ever clueless in all area's does'ent even start to describe this bunch of overpayed and underclassed footballers,I followed scotland to world cups and euro championships ok we never got out of the group stages but went o so close many times at least the guys on the pitch had class,Scottish football is in a real mess to many foreign imports where is the young talent that we were assured was going to come good from the likes of lennoxtown and murray park ? Surely the coaching at grass routes has got to be all wrong ?We are now reverting to picking guys back in the team who were not near good enough first time around but who replaces them ? Things are not much better in england with the millions sky are pumping in not one of there so called elite can make this years champions league last eight ? As for england's defending at the goal last night school boy stuff from so called world beaters now am having a laugh ,Wales Ireland all the same as us murder polis ,The sooner a wage structure is in place and they have to work a full day like the rest o us things might just improve Rant Over
  3. Was at a club meeting today when my mate told me he had read a report in a gamekeepers magazine stating that four pairs of peregrine falcons were to be released in the Moffat area and be watched to see if they are successful in setting up new nest sites after the success of three pairs last year that explains why last year one evening when i was exercising the young birds they were attacked by four peregrines and here was me thinking there were no more sites with the near on twenty pairs at present Cant see pigeon racing surviving at this rate having spoken to a friend from the ne who stated he had 3 pairs in close proximity where previously there were none ,I wonder what goal the rspb are trying to achieve ???

What about the years that people clocked using a stall trap whilst they were standing outside clocking in never heard of any complaints there ,at the end of the day if your bird aint up with he leaders it won't matter what system is used ,I for one only wish as much effort was put into eradicating the falcon problem as there is with trivial issues .
