I am a pensioner and sent for, or collected all my birds that were reported except for the one's reported overseas :) Yep same here, or fetched them!

Well done Mark. Yes I know, like most that these will most likely be an optune moment for a newbie to sent up with good birds. Gosh, wish I was a newbie lol ;D

Well most of the modulators are ok ... Think Oldyellows' a bit iffy lol ;D ;D
-
If he breeds me some youngsters he can all the of the best feed back going lol ;D ;D ;D But on a serious note, I have and will continue to give feed back mostly good. Why? Welll -THE only answer to why is - BECAUSE I believe that they do a blumming brilliant first class job. A thankless one often granted, but one where they must often, or at least time to time get great pleasure from this site..... I certainly hope so.
-
loverly to see. Well done mucker ... P.s.... any more spare lol :P ;D ;D
-
Possibly why it is that Richard may be turning a blind eye and letting him still be on here. Personally if that is the case, I for one would much rather just him be re - instated as one that has paid his dues.
-
Yes I expect to lose a few this season. But don't see no point in either chucking them away, or losing some needlessly.
-
Have a loverly Blue Cock bird. Back in sparkling form.... Loft fit wise. The one that I got back from that disastrous Thurso smash last season I posted a couple of days ago. Well he is driving. Very very keen.... A 100 odd miles. Yes he could go straight in. Be about 10 - 15 minutes behind .... If been trained and done some mileage under his wing would I send him :-/ Only if there was a good reason to. Not in averages now, no money - which not interested in anyway - to be won. So why would I want to send him. Yes for the buzz of racing... Folly that I feel. Will be driving again in 3 weeks, be a NRCC or such around then. Will have done - hopefully - some mileage and a race. Ah now that to me makes sense..... Could lose a few like our Fed did last week. Did I paid out good money to buy, fork out time effort and more money every week since just to get a worthless buzz and risk losing him and a few more :-/ :-/ :o Guess sense no, andmind must over rule the heart eh!!
-
No hurry for me really. Am trying new stock, so must be fair to them. Sure it's ok to say, as I have done many times and still will in different circumstances 'I have them to fly / race, and they're going'! But pointless to chuck away birds that may well turn out well. After all I bought them to shine! Bought them to do the job! Not for boys to do a man's job, or risky for the sake of a bit of cardboard or sticking chest out at club. Or for the odd slap on the back! No, I bought them in - at great costs some (well to me any way) to improve and get back on the ladder. Why then in darnation would I send and risk 2 years work, only to have to start again! :-/ :o There is always another day .... as long as you haven't thrown you birds away I guess. JMO P.s. Besides it is for these very reasons why they have hardly had a chuck, let alone be fit enough to hold their own.

Just wondering, mothering - law moans a lot, what can I do to cheer her up. :-/ Has twicthy fingers and Knits a lot!- even though no one needs new socks. :o When she cat naps she dribbles from the side of her mouth! Is this serious or catching :-/ She has tantrums often, and this seems to be more prone when her old man goes up the pub. This seems to cause a gnashing teeth and she paces the floor a lot! :( I wonder sometime if these are related symptoms :-/ Her clothes never smell good, and she has an 'Oldish' Smell about her. Enough to make you weep. :'( :'( I wonder what pills and stuff to pour down her throat, and what to jab her with! Indeed is it ok to give probotic and antibotic in the same glass of water, and does it have to be a clean glass :-/ :o Really concerned, as I married her daughter! :o Will the daughter turn out the same.... can't afford private treatment for them of course, and don't know if the NHS can help here. Should I cull :-/, or get shot of :-/, or divoice now? What of my daughter :-/ will she turn out a throw back to grand mother, :-/ :-/ Pleas help as I am a novice here, and any help whatsoever will be tried. No I have never mentioned, or talked to either my misses or her mother about these happening.... I don't know if it normal or not for starters, and last time I spoke to the mother in - law she made a claking sound with her false teeth.... quite of putting and orrying really. I all asked her was 'Could I have a sample of your droppings to take to the vets' :B :-/ :o Her reacation was uncalled for to say the least! ??) ??)

Yep Wiley and Tony W. Both right as far as I'm concerned. Also remember when you get up in the morning, early about 11 30 (lol ) and there are hardly any wild birds flying around.... Not a good day for flying. Further, when you see Seagulls Milling, just gliding around in circles, and even attaining great hieghts, my birds do even go out, let alone tossed - yes 99% of time ok to let out old bird, but I still never chance it. Some say it is because the electricity in the air sents the nits, bacteria, whatever high up and is starting to kill them. Lighten will often not be long coming often. But it is needed rain etc. then as the Bacteria falls to the ground to feed the plant / grass / flower life.
