theres a lovely thing called a transporter i put any stray south in a box give it to the driver he releases at liberation site the bird gets home , i go 86 miles north from me to Sunderland once a fortnight i drop N.E.H.U strays up along where they live any above Sunderland get a toss at Sunderland , how much do i charge to get these birds back to there owners ???? nothing a thankless job of feeding some for nearly 2 weeks but if this helps the sport then ill continue , its a shame most of the fanciers put them back straight in to next race rather than get them resetled and re trained , the last basket i let go at Sunderland they all dint even know how to leave the training create , that speaks volumes to me , there first experience of a basket proobably was there first race
