i agree see a vet probably will get some baytrill 10% , or whatevers hot for respirity these days , a well ventilated loft and plenty of air flow will keep the respirity at bay , i'd be looking at the ventilation , its no good treating and treating when a few modifications will be the biggest prevention -

untill racing pigeons come under one set of rules , one organisation , with a good infra structure we wont become a sport , i suppose we can either aproach our unions with our ideas but i think there doors be shut as ' they be alright jack as long as you want rings and rules ' as they wont want to vanish and be moved or jobless -

better to be a partner of a confederation and a going concern than be ate up by one body , whu head office portacabin ? nehu has own property so does gb as for others i dont know , but how do you get all to be one ? all should be in one central location under one set of rules , it would save thousands just on council tax alone, then they could look at transportation, liberation , and look towards fed inland racing and how best to reduce transporters on the road and national channel racing -

there may be a confederation of unions but as the rules for each union differ then there is not one set of rules , so the confederation does not give a level playing field for all. Many different rules regarding ets at the moment in each union also thimbless t3s , Scotland not allowed to address stamp there birds , gb supposed to be flown stamped clearly , nehu arent allowed to write there own bird list out if i was to sit down with all these different rules they be hundreds of diffrences -

we cant be taken serious till we have one representing body then we will have the foundation for a sport , diffrent bodies different rules ectra. I think we all need to address the need for more than one governing body with our unions , or the alternative is to start a new unions for all but the danger lies in any new organisations rings would not be recognised by the R.P.R.A and im sure not all would welcome a progresive change -

well it would be turned down as a sport as we have too many divisons i.e no one set of rules and one governing body , i would love to have it recognised as a sport but the sport council will also be worried about fanciers asking to fund clocks and new stock lofts ectra where would the funding stop ? i know we should state that as a individual sport that no funding would be nessersary from the sports council to premote our sport or fund any members needs -
There is already a body that probably needs more backing it's S.O.S save our song birds , simple things like hedges ( hawthorn been best )been planted instead of fences and brick walls , will encourage more song birds , having moved from one area to another in same estate the amount of song birds where hedges are present is nearly treble. I know this is not going to solve the rapter problem but more song birds that are easier to catch and carry , would reduce the number of pigeons killed , and perhaps the return of the eagle owl would help but not all these preditors live in wooded areas , and perhaps the thread should be renamed to add 'Song' as in song birds as it would cover the very rapters you wish to control to safe numbers

sometimes i start to write a reply , then i delete it all , the reason for it sometimes is i have vented my frustrations , and then thought about it , then questioned it , if you reply to a bad response then you are encouraging them to respond further, if you simply ignore and respond to the previous thread and report the bad response then there response hasn't got an audience and the thread will continue as normal.

well looks like he couldnt pass it on to the sports council , i supose as we arent a sport we arent a buisness so perhaps he could take back the taxs demands off us at the same time -

I understand the frustration of people just using the site to sell pigeons and not giving the site any usefull input as most of us do without the need to sell pigeons, i have on occasions not agreed with some postings however i have not dragged the the debate down by insults or anything like that. As for slating any novice because they havent won a race , that is completely wrong , we need to encourage new blood in to the sport and support them with advice , and if this fanciers is so good at winning perhaps he could donate a few birds and offer some mentoring , and help rather than belittling others . Some people just feel empowered behind a keyboard sad but true , and feel the need to belittle to make themselves feel more superior , than there pecking order in the real world. Smile lifes too short , perhaps if you pass a smile on then we'd have a happy site ;D ;D ;D ;D
