add soluble calcium to the drinking water , cheapest way of getting calcium in to birds would be to use a cuttle fish and grate it , if you ensure your birds have all that they need during the breeding period your birds shouldnt have no problem laying

cat litter is ok to use as long as its the fullers earth type

you'l certainly have a task there , ill answer you in 4 years time

that was the replacement for the doweled loft and was perfectly functional 2 sections old and young birds , landing board 3/4 of way up plenty of air no stale air or respirity problems them days and was as dry as out

its good to gauge the correct feeding once they start leaving the barley they have had enough food ( feeding by hand ) , im not a great lover of barley with ybs i'd rather use wheat

id give them 10% of there feed in barley but others may differ in opinion

it all depends on what your doing with the birds at the time to what percentage you use
