  7. Brewers Yeast Brewers Yeast is known as nature’s wonder food, a name that it certainly deserves. It is an excellent source of all the major B vitamins (except B12). It also contains other vitamins, sixteen amino acids and fourteen or more minerals. The Benefits of Brewers Yeast Sleep – It has been shown to help people having difficulty sleeping. This is due to the Niacin and Vitamin B6 present in the yeast, which work together to produce the brain chemical seratonin, which is essential for restful sleep. Fatigue – It has been shown to help people who feel fatigued, since many of the B group vitamins present are essential in the release of energy from the carbohydrates in the food we consume. Diarrhoea – It has been used to treat diarrhoea caused by Clostridium difficile. Properties Brewers yeast contains many different vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The major vitamins are:- Vitamin B1 (thiamin) – releases energy from carbohydrate in the diet, and is important for the heart and nervous system. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) – releases energy from carbohydrate in the diet, and maintains healthy skin, eyes and digestive tract. Niacin (Vitamin B3) – releases energy from carbohydrate, and helps to maintain healthy skin, digestive tract and nervous system. Brewer's yeast (also known as brewers yeast or brewing yeast) can mean any live yeast used in brewing. It can also mean yeast obtained as a by-product of brewing, dried and killed, and used as a dietary supplement for its B vitamin content , as not killed it could be harmfull and as a wet product the concentration of vitamins will de reduced unlike the dried variety

  18. well im sure the yeast would stop working once dry so if you added to your corn and added some other vitamins you could be on the right track let it dry out for a few hours so mix morning feed at night and night feed in morning so plenty of time to dry out before giving them it just keep an eye on birds
  19. Congatulations Wiley
  20. well done Ian
  21. brewers yeast is from the waste product from brewing its how its processed after that counts if the yeast is still active it could damage the birds natural ballance by upseting the gut flora rather than working with it and may cause canker to flourish after all its a yeast type infection
  22. well best way would be to get it analized by a lab and check it against a similar pigeon product but pretty much same stuff may lack the vitamins tho
  23. is the yeast still active and has it been vitamised or just the waiste product from brewing ?
  24. i love sitting watching the sky as they fly around something special watching them bombing around loft when there in view knowing you give them there freedom and they'll all be happy to see you and get fed , theres too many to list ;D ;D ;D ;D
