i have to agree some people use medications willy nilly even used baytrill once myself with good effect if your getting respirity disease its down to the loft design and too many pigeons , if your birds ail too often they wouldnt be of any use to me as they wouldnt survive long enough to see medication , nature suppresses the week and unfit birds be it through bad management or natural causes , it has to be survival of the fittest and fastest , birds with a week constitution will ail and will weaken any loft till there removal

i think when it comes to treating for anything you should think would you take a parcetamol just incase you get an headache , would you have radioactive therapy loose all your hair just to make sure you dint have lukemia , the answer is you wouldnt you would seek medical advise then treat accordingly

get your droppings tested regulary you'l save a fortune in treating and your birds will be better for it

i would say the bird was flown out when it first came and finaly built its strength back and decided it was time to head for home , the snow may have made him decide he needed better shelter but i doubt it , he must of felt fit and headed for home

well a garage it meant for storage either car or other stuff, to use it as a living space he would need to submit a change of use at the council planning office which they would reject , the other issue would be the noise generated by people been there going to and leaving the building , also he would need an entertainments licience for the public use of the television and a special public licence to broadcast sky matches , and last but not least the premises would have to meet fire safety standards :X

i have to agree , so its either pot eggs or fly widowhood and not have unwanted young birds but we all know theres birds that kick dummys out or lay at side of them with widowhood you wouldnt get those problems

I have ammended your title first i thank you for the time you have put into getting to find the site , as the bird will be at risk from preditors best to keep it confined to a box or rabbit hutch or something of a similar nature to keep it safe , some water and food rice or dried peas will do for now you maybe able to get some pigeon corn from your local petshop .
