-
lol just because you have stocking and suspenders on ..................... how can i compete with that image ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D , still a wee bit tired but not argumentative just informative must feed the brain some caffine ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
i have yearlings this this year and missing a couple of early races but i put them on the seed mix as soon as training , no point of a bird been in form out of season
-
the falling of down it denotes health and a early indicator of form
-
well as i race widowhood i give my seeds to condition , and birds in condition shed body feathers the very small feather when birds are fit and in top condition , well i wouldnt want this in the early months of winter would i ??????
-
last time when i told you to fed this and asked you said they liked this seed mix that much they sounded like they had eat an hole through the floor ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
i think they should give yearly bans to people that dont colect there strays , they'd soon collect but you cant blame R.P.R.A for phone number no longer been in use
-
Oldyellow seed mix is as follows , equal quantitys of Hempseed , black rapeseed , linseed , budgie seed canaryseed and Dari , i would only use my condition seed whilst racing as will encourage the moult or for darkness ybs , dari is the best part of this and can be used for trapping on its own , as tastes sweet to pigeons the fanciers on the continent call it the candy seed i give my widowers half a teaspoon on trapping am and pm and those that have used my seed mix have improved there trapping

spot on blacks have darker pigmentation so there skin is darker sometimes some information is mis information
-
i know it happens which is sad no wonder many get disalutioned and leave the sport , thats one of the reasons i take birds from others to repatriate nearer to home
-
i do hope you continue to feed and water and report strays and i hope you get a better response next time im sure if gave your feed back to the Redding of your experience im sure it be a waiste of time , i suggest if you dont want as much hastle next time around ask the reddings of your local racing club and see if you can talk to there secatary to see if you can hand your racing strays to one of there members which may result in more pigeon friends and relieve you of the burden of reporting strays you can simply pass them on , or the alternative kis to report them as a non fancier , enyoy your birds
-
as a pigeon fancier yourself i find this comment disgusting , any bird other than your own is someones property it may have made a mistake but not very gentlemanly to treat all birds like this that enter your loft , just because you had problems with one bird been reported your willing to decree every stray bird that enters your loft , some fanciers actualy want there birds back , i find your comments distastefull , i take stray birds from my area back north to liberate near there home i sometimes go collect strays from non fanciers and keep them till better i call this sportmans ship look how many fancy birds also get reported on here by racing fanciers , we do this as we know most people worth there salt would do this , as its hard enough with having B.O.P and wires to contend with as well as the likes that destroy because they entered there lofts , heres an idea we all can do keep a smallish rabbit hut for stays feed water take away from loft release if comes back then report it

just found this depluming mite :Neocnemidocoptes gallinae burrow into the epidermis at the base of feather shafts and cause intense irritation and feather pulling in chickens, pheasants, pigeons, and geese in spring and summer. Affected birds should be isolated and treated with ivermectin
-
sounds more like there been treat on bird but the loft hasent been treated
-
seems the depluming mite in similar to that of scabies that it burrows under the skin so something like malathon liquid should kill it as thats the treatment for head lice / scabiies but a good clean and a blow torch will be needed till clear no good curing bird if there loft isnt treated same or they'll keep returning
-
