  11. some times working dogs are kept along side pigeon especialy the terrier type as good fer ratting so i can see the reason for working dogs to be on
  12. theres for and against cleaning and not cleaning as been said before its getting the right ballance and what suits you , damp or wet droppings arent any good for the birds , dropping omit amonnia so it needs to dry out pretty fast amonnia plus hot loft can cause gases to build up in the loft which will impair the birds ability to perform toxin levels raise in pigeons and reduces there performance , i have used both extremes and have returned to scrapping twice a day , the reason fotr this is you can see the droppings and maintain the health of your birds harder to do in deep litter imo , plus dont have contaminated feed or water from faeces still damp and no gases building up in your loft reducing your birds performances
  13. http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/hotandstickyroastqua_80547.shtml might not be a bad idea after all if all cock birds ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

  19. i like to see them paired through wires then theres lets chance hen gets attacked by cock
  20. in season it pays to clean birds out as they can bring out home from a race basket , however if closed up for winter they should come to no harm as no cross contamination from other lofts
  21. lots of ways most just lock a hen up at closed end of breeding box for a few days the cocks will choose there own box leave hen in a few days when biling through bars then let cock into box and close them in
