rub the washing liquid in to the feathers neat and pour salt on dry and rub in the oil will attach itself to the salt tghe thoroughly rinse it off ensuring no oil on the birds skin

oil can aborb in to the skin , if you have oil use washing up liquid and salt to get it off , i would recomend you get some charcoal tablets and a clay pickstone to help detoxify the birds system , i wouldnt recommend racing for rest of season as bird may be suffering for absorbing the oil into it's skin
