cool i made the v perches purely for quickness as the ybs were ready to collect so i can take my time and make the box perches right and just fit them in i suppose. ive still got my other section to kit out what do youz reckon i should have in there breeding boxes ????

yeah mate i would say they are making it to the top perches is them walking in and out the sputnik enough

3 of them are about 20 odd days old im sure and the other are slightly older the guy who gave me them jim cullen say i mite lose the older ones

Just got my first ever yong birdsto put in my newly built loft over the moon can you guys tell me how long you think i should keep them in for before i let them out for the first time some people are saying as quick as 4days

got my first section sorted to get my young birds hopefully later on this week i was told i wouldnt have to make boxes or anything and that i would be fine in the young birds section just ith perches can anyone shed light on this

Hey guys im nearly finished building my first ever loft, ive got it up roof on the lot its a ten by 6 with a sputnik in each section two sections by the way thats where the problem starts lol I dont know what to do in the inside when i had the pourters they all had a individual pen and were kept locked up can anyone shed light on what i should do inside or even send pics any advice will be much appreciated

thats the mawras job mate the only bit ill struggle wae is the inside man no sure wit to do

why dont you just build one thats what im doing its a lot cheeper and you can make it the way you want aswell

Yeah mate I've saw from tenemant flats and virandas also out of window boxes even your attic it was a good bud but not enough happining anymore nearly finished my loft and getting my latebreds soon also so here goes

Your correct mate its is mostly gangsters and most of the doocots have false floors in them with stash in them that's why the huts are built like fort knox. As for the doos people don't really fly them the way they used to nobody wants to risk losing there's but wants to catch everyone else but you can if you don't put yours out so that's why I stopped absolutley no point in having the doos. Now I'm into racers my lofts nearly complete so hopefully have some fun with them as for the guys on here the homing doomen seem a lot more helpful than the pouters guys any day

im originally from glasgow a used to fly pouters for 4 year and i lost a lot off good doocots after catching some one elses bird waking up to find the doocot burnt down with the birds inside its a complete joke
