Had my young birds out just there and it only took fifteen minutes for them to fly to the roof and start picking at the gutters so i just shouted them down for there feed not sure if i should have just left them up there because they really havent started flying at all yet and out of the nine that i have 3 dont even come out the loft but the other 6 are straight out could this be anything to do with they came from a different loft and a bit later on than the others

well mate jims a relative of my girlfriend and a think he said it was one of his eggs or something like that lets hope the birds jim gave me will do well for me

see i only got mines last tuesday and there first time out was saturday and everynight since how long do you reckon before they fly more than 2 circles lol or do you think im just expecting too much from them too soon

Cheers guys will try them. Let my ybs out the night and they are gradually flying more and more but because I'm letting them out longer they are sitting about the gutters picking at things. I think it mite be coz they are getting a light feed in the morning then the rest at night but a really don't like them sitting eating crap any suggestions

it was the end of the line first time ive had to get rid and ive only had my birds from last tuesday but onwards and upwards!! How long will it take for my ybs to start really flying some of them are going up and doing wee circles the now

The wee yb a got back is badly shaking do you think its the end of the line

Suppose I could but it then means I have to dispose of some next year or build an extra loft and believe me its took me 2 year to persuade the misses to get a ten by six lol

also can anyone adves me on how many ybs i can fit in a 5x6 section ive got a 10 x 6 split in two old birds ybs ive got nine just now but getting offered more left right and centre

found my lost yb but very dehaydrated and canny fly so ive got its on its own with food and water see how it is in the morn!!! the other young birds were out the night for a half hour is it normal for them to start going up to the roof and sitting there until i cal them in this is only the 3rd time out should i call them to the loft everytime they go up to it? where is the closet place i can buy a feeder the one ive got is far too wee for them just now? Should the grit dish be left in all the time aswell ive just started leaving it in and some of the pigeons have had orangey droppings is this the grit just breaking there grub down

Is that expected to lose 8 on a first toss mate? My ybs have been out last two night can they go out tonight even if its raining bearing in mind I don't have old birds to bring them in

What about feeding then I've been giving them about a teaspoon each in the morning then letting them out at night so they are hungary and easy to get in then giving them a feed wen they are in are they okay not eating allday obv as they're young you want to bring them on etc

So does anyone think I could let them out this early about half six

second time out the night and theyre moving about better already and they are coming in no prob when a shake there feed do you think im better putting them out in the morning before work about half six
