I am offering again 3 2008 late bred pigeons, and all I ask is that if you are interested then show that your intrested if not, i would ask you to please leave the thread alone

The first two are nest mates and are direct children (cock and hen) of "MANEATER" a direct son of the "KANABUALL" from Kees Bousa, "KANABUAAL" and his father "FIGO" sold for approx 180,000 euros, when "MANEATER" was paired to a Willy Van Herk hen who was a club an section NIPA winner

The third bird is a cock and a direct son of "AMERICAN ACE" and "SYNDICATE BRITANNIA", "AMERICAN ACE" was ace bird in the 2003 Europa classic (his son was also ace bird in the europa classic a couple of years later), and "SYDNICATE BRITINNIA" was joint winner of the  VAGAS CLASIC winning approx $7500.

These thee brids have never been bread from and are being sold due to me concentrating on my own family, of which I achived in my first year back racing 1st club, 1st 2 bird club, 1st sale bird, 2nd section and 2nd open 23,000 birds winning over £800.

The bidding on these 3 birds will start at £100 each, regards

Just a wee update , I am led to belive the winner of this years Europa classic was a grandson of Kees Bosua's "KANABAAL",  a recommendation if ever there there was one, remember these birds have never been bred from, regards.

Red I see the opening bids are to be £100. No problem there then. I am suprised a mite with your following quote of ....

quote=2150 Surely boys and girls the breading of these 3 birds constituits a bid of sorts??, think of what the parents would cost you to buy!!

  :-/ :-/

Does that mean you are inviting opening bids?

Tell me Roland, In your opinion what, based on there breding do you reckon there worth??, and what would you expect to pay from one of the studs??, I would appricate your input, regards.

Think they are worth more granted.

Believe - personally - when the starting price is a bit steepish for most, we have two scenario's. Those that can afford comfortablely have already bought good priced pigeons, and though always on the look for a good cross, many have already an idea where and what they want.

Which leaves those wanting a 'Good buy' (Naturely) looking for a bargain. The hardest part is then to get them to dip their feet in and feel the water.

£50 would most likely have brought a swift response. Then like chicken scratching in the farm yard a crowd quickly forms. They will tempt themselves and go that little bit higher...

The worst scenario is then of course not exceeding the £100 mark via very much.

But the bid has to start somewhere, and hopefully raises the price merited.

Yes agree it may well be the price warrented, not achieved may leave the taste in the mouth of 'If I thought that was all they would fetch I'd never have sold them.... indeed worth more at home'!

Dammd if you do and dammed perhaps if you don't.

That is my honest take of it.

Nigh everyone, naturually, wants to hopefully raise the standard in their' loft... most have to wiegh up the cost to their' purse. (70%) I'd say. which still leaves 30% (12,000) that are able to snatch your hand off. But down to about 60 - 100 tops on here that can afford to start at a £100 JMO

Can't really understand why birds that are  supposedly worth so much in there breeding are on site for sale in the first instance . Certainly not saying they are not worth it but just the fact that someone can put them up for sale at this price . Can only say you must have some fantastic birds in your loft that you want to concentrate on your own rather than these  with there bloodlines .

You must be a lucky guy

Thanks Roland i really appricate your comments, and duely noted, its hard to put an exacte price on anything really, i am confident that if they were offered by the big studs there asking price would indeed exceed £250/£300 each. Yes I have done well, indeed very well considering its my first full year back at the young birds, i suppose like a lot of us I have overstocked and need to cut back to concentrate on my principle family, these are genuine birds on over here otherwise i would not be trying to dsell them, i know your not saying there not i am justyfying my reasons for selling, again your comments have been noted, regards.

:-/ You have moved the goal post mate, starting bid was 100 pound each so that would be 300 pounds 4 the three SO IM OUT :'(

The goalposts have not moved at all, yes I asked the biding to START at £100, THAT DIDN'T MEAN THEY WERE GOING TO STOP AT A HUNDRED, ALL I HAVE DONE IS SET A , WHAT I FEEL,  FAIR PRICE FOR THE 3 OFF THEM, DO YOU THINK ITS A FAIR PRICE FOR BIRDS THIS WAY BRED ?? I KNOW I WOULD IF IT WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR, REGARDS.

:-/ im not knocking you,the birds or the starting price i was asked to give you a bid and thats what i did, then you come back and say you wont 400 pounds for the three but your starting price was 100 pound each,so if my friend put a bid in for the starting price and no one else bid would you have sold them :-/ hope the sale goes well as i think these birds are very well bred :).
