I never introduce myself etc. - which in it's self was a rarity lol. Seems I couldn't put names to faces and like Bakes was a little abash, being the first time I went to a auction to actually buy lol. There wasn't a bad bred bird in the sale which I knew there wouldn't be - I posted as such before having seen Johns set up and birds. I will be inviting a few round to see them in the Flight to pee a few off lol.
Guest mick bowler Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Anyone know what 5 went for? I liked the extra lot as well but she went over what i would of paid, although i still think worth every penny at £350.
Guest mick bowler Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 lot 5 was sold for 135 to me Bargain i reckon mate, although time will tell.
Guest bakes Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 lot 5 was sold for 135 to me nice hen you bought there pal hope she does well for you pal all the best.

stantheman Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 I bought the white cock for a mate its an absolute belter and we got it for a third of what we expected to pay for it will put some photos up when i get chance
Roland Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 I bidded on it too. But sensed that others were more intent. Glad to know that £140 wouldn't have got him.... would have been a bit miffed lol.
Roland Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 By the way, lot 16 cost me £85 not £35. I was lucky enough to get the loft mate (15) for £35. Both sprinters apparently - obviously if nest mates ... or ... :-/ - And never been interested in as such. But they are show clas. Also bred in the purple so who knows... Bergerac / Lerwick becomes a sprint now lol.
