Put my yb's out this morning at 10.30,only out 5 min and a Peregrine went right through them, closed the loft up at 6pm,not a bird in sight, absolutely gutted. Lost 3 yearnings only a few weeks ago when the Sparrowhawk struck. My first season not even had a race yet and I'm suffering all these losses.

Paul, it is tough at this time of year because the hens in particular are feeding up ready for when they sit their nests. At that time they are dependent on the cocks bringing them food. :)

Devistating mate feel for for you , if you want a few ybs give me a shout .

I have just put my race birds together you can have the full round off them but must say they are 90% longer distance bred birds , all you need do is supply the rings.
