Kyleakin Lofts Posted March 5, 2018 Report Posted March 5, 2018 IMPORTANT NOTICE - PUNCTURING CLOCKS AUDIT Please note that any puncturing clock still in use needs to be re-registered at the Reddings prior to the start of the 2018 racing season. Failure to do so will disqualify the clock from any future use. Puncturing clocks may not be sold, loaned or disposed of, for the use of any other person in any RPRA competition. Puncturing clocks should be registered with Julia Field 01452 858244 juliafield@rpra.org Ian Evans General Manager
paddymac Posted March 5, 2018 Report Posted March 5, 2018 Don't think there are too many puncture clocks still in use these days
Kyleakin Lofts Posted March 5, 2018 Author Report Posted March 5, 2018 Obviously attempting to get rid.
Guest mambo Posted March 5, 2018 Report Posted March 5, 2018 Still think this rule has no foundation, OK, the clock has age, but it did not find anyone cheat. if the seal was in tact, and recorded., they where as safe as a t 4. Next only a Brecon can only be used. and this crap. you can't sell it. it ain't them, that gave you one for nothing.
fieldwalker Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 Does anyone still make the dials...I doubt it.
paddymac Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 Does anyone still make the dials...I doubt it.Its just as hard to get ink ribbons for STB clocks.
Kyleakin Lofts Posted March 6, 2018 Author Report Posted March 6, 2018 Probably just a method of officially bringing an end to their use. This then promotes the use of computer clocks or ETS.

fieldwalker Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 I started with a toulet puncture clock then a benzing quartz then T3...i know what i was happier with waiting for pigeons on the 2nd day from 570m...it wasn't the toulet...ETS now...and fully charged spare bat 😃
THE FIFER Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 Obviously attempting to get rid. yes have been for a while now, you cant sell them (for using) or give them away (same)

peter pandy Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 Body & Ridewood still supply ink rolls and toulet dials.
fieldwalker Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 i bet they wont be reordering dials...be old stock, might be worth getting a few sets and putting them away for the antiques road show to demonstrate how they worked...
