Mossgiel Posted March 3, 2018 Report Posted March 3, 2018 What an amount of fieldfares I've seen today. Don't ever recall seeing so many any other year ?? Maybe the east wind or the bad weather has made them change from their normal route ??

blue lad Posted March 3, 2018 Report Posted March 3, 2018 Seen numerous bands fieldfairs & red wings over the last few days.Even a waxwing in with them .Defiantly blown here on east winds first land fall they appear on the east coast coast.They prefer Rowan trees to rest on. I've never recalled seeing so many.

fieldwalker Posted March 3, 2018 Report Posted March 3, 2018 mate found a few dead birds along the beach at Roker (sunderland)PUFFIN, GUILLEMOT, RAZORBILL, half eaten REDWING and a blue chunky fish...dunno what it isi only know the ones in batter..
