2010 rings wanted

Like many I am not keen on the new style 2010 rings issued by the RPRA.

I would like to ring my birds with UK rings that do not have the ets slots. Does any have any for sale or know where I can purchase some from.

cant you purchase them from the nwhu?..or the nehu?..hope you find somewhere

Why not get WHU rings..

Really not fussed about the issuer as long as UK with out the slot. Not a member of any other union so not sure if any union will sell direct to an RPRA member

i would imagine that you will be asked to join them to gain rings.

N.W.H.U sold out weeks ago, sec normally has them all year round, that tells you something!!!!

Hopefully the RPRA will have thousands left over so that realise members aint happy.

then block transfer over to new owner 20 p a ring

 

works out then 45p per ring

There's only one problem mate most rings would be ordered Oct/Nov 09 for delivery to Fed/club sec.

I think some fanciers ,if they had seen the ring before ordering would have went elsewhere .

I've not actually seen the ring only in photo's but surely it cant be good to have a ring with what amounts to 2 hooks on. What were the rpra thinking?
