Ian McKay Posted March 9, 2017 Author Report Posted March 9, 2017 How long does permethrin last before you have to treat again? All depends on surface and type of lighting but from 30 to 80 days Saturate loft for the first use and a quick spray will keep things in order weekly Ian
Ian McKay Posted March 10, 2017 Author Report Posted March 10, 2017 Some info on Permitherin Extracted for a WHO report(World Health Organisation) Permitherin Toxicity to birds 6.2.3 Birds Neither an acute oral nor a dietary LD50 or LC50 has been estab-lished accurately because of the very low toxicity of permethrin tobirds (Table 6). The acute LD50 is >3000 mg/kg body weight and thedietary toxicity >5000 mg/kg diet. (Worthing & Walker, 1983; Hill &Camardese, 1986). The inclusion of permethrin at up to 40 mg/kg in the diet of layinghens for 28 days had no adverse effects on the health of parent birdsor on egg production quality, hatchability, or the viability of thechicks produced (Ross et al. 1977b). This is a dog flea product Our flea drops will kill fleas and ticks for up to 4 weeks! This pack includes two tubes of Cutaneous Solution for use on dogs and puppies over 2 weeks of age. For the saftey of you, your dog and other pets always read the instructions before application. Active ingredient: 65% Cutaneous Solution Permethrin. The above dog flea product is NOT 65% permitherin If this is given to your dog at 1ml dose it would be getting 742mg of permitherin
