Just why is it re - moved? The very act is ridiculous? The fact is it was in regards Birds Flu.

So are we to have umpteen sub heading now? Wasn't so long ago when there was a palaver about posters opening up 'Sub Headings' etc. AND quite rightly so!

The Forum was set-up from yonks ago with a number of Boards to allow threads on the same subjects to be placed together. That was to allow members to look back at subjects like 'What's wrong with my bird?". Members were also advised to use 'Portal' when searching for any recent thread, so that no matter where the thread had originally been posted to, it could easily be found, even when it had been moved to another Board. The Notice Board was always intended for 'news bulletins' that would be moved to a permanent home sooner rather than later. IMO it's just become a bit of a dump for all new threads.

Yes I.B. understood. BUT the main issue here ISN'T in regards Peregrines BUT the Bird Flu!

So it should have stayed under Bird Flu. Further down the line - if branching away fro the topic, then have a sub setting etc.

Heard the falcon was found near castle Douglas

West of Dumfries

A pair had taken up residence on a historic scotland tower /ruin near there this last year only accessible by boat

Perhaps them ?
