It started about 5 days ago.

He was first or second back from all training tosses and trapped well- the last one was last Wednesday

Exercising round loft since then he has been acting strange, goes to trap and backs off

flying off in different directions, including sitting on the house roof

(he has had a few 1sts - use ETS - so not manhandled)

It is so out of character, first race today and he would not go near the racing loft- he didn't attempt to trap

He sat on the stock loft for 20 minutes (and that's next to the race loft). We have seen a cat on a few occasions, but would have thought

other birds would be acting strange if there had been a problem - no problems (touch wood) with hawks so far this year

though the odd one 'hangs about' in the air

Any ideas?

This cock was first back today and trapped well - there was a grey cat hiding on next doors garage (parallel to my loft) - I had seen this cat before, it blends in very well against concrete - as it was previously hidden by a concrete fence post as if camouflaged - really difficult to see. I've no idea who the cat belongs to but it has not been around for very long
