Guest jason
Todmorden H.S. had it's A.G.M. on the 26th of February, the meeting went very well and all officials kept their jobs from 2015. I offered to be the club's press officer and was welcomed with open arms. There was a good turn out for the meeting and the club is becoming very strong and competitive with 22 members. You may have seen our gold ring race advertised in the homing world. All the gold rings have now been sold. The club's breeder/buyer sale is on the 20th of March at Todmorden working mens club. Penning is from 10.30am until 1pm. The Breeder/buyer race will be flown from Poole (Hamworthy) on bank holiday Monday 29th August. ThanksJason

Guest jason
well here's the latest news from Todmorden H.S. The Todmorden H.S. breeder/buyer sale was held on the 20th of March and we had a great turn out.Norman Fairbanks of Stainland Homing society was the auctioneer and he did a fantastic job, selling 139 pigeons in a little under 3 hours. We have raised approximately £7000 in prize money and a meeting was held on the 1st of April to discuss the prizes.I can confirm that there will be 10 prizes, guaranteed and are as follows,First place £1000 to the breeder and £1000 to the buyer.Second place £500 to the breeder and £500 to the buyer.Third place £400 to the breeder and £400 to the buyer.Fourth place £300 to the breeder and £300 to the buyer.Fifth place £200 to the breeder and £200 to the buyer.Sixth place £150 to the breeder and £150 to the buyer.seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth will all be £100 to the breeder and £100 to the buyer.More prizes will be available, but this will depend on expenses and will be discussed at a later date.Todmorden Homing society members would like to thank all those that took part and a massive thank you to Norman Fairbanks. The first old bird race is next week from Wollaston.Good luck to all those racing next week. Jason
