Took the two older kids to it this year. Very enjoyable. I went to my first one around 50 years ago and have been to a few over the years. The emphasis has changed from military to dance and to youth. Promoting the future and the diversity of the nations, since years ago it was primarily a military tattoo, now more of a show. The massed bands were the highlight for me this year, although the whole event was enjoyable. :)
