peter2010 Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Can someone tell me what determines what section your in when racing in the SNFC as I've been told two different answers
Guest Jamsie Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 The Federation you fly in determines what section you are in. Same as clubs make up Federation sections.
peter2010 Posted June 26, 2015 Author Report Posted June 26, 2015 Well that's a funny one because I've seen the same pigeon on the snfc result topping section E and the same bird is on the North West fed result so am just finding this a wee bit confusing!!!!

easygaun Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 The Federation you fly in determines what section you are in. Same as clubs make up Federation sections. No it disna, carnwath flies with almond valley but we are still in section E
peter pandy Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Probably find the Midland Fed is involved , it usually is in matters like thisNAW,, Try Forth & Clyde, Corbiewood Club member perhaps pre 2004 rule 13c Page 15.
Guest Jamsie Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Good thread this.......it's clear that this isn't clear to anyone. Get the proposals in just now to get clarification on it. Individual members are allocated a section based on where they live or where the loft is. I personally think that where the loft is Should ! determine your section but I really did think it was based on your Federation, I stand corrected thank you.
easygaun Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 NAW,, Try Forth & Clyde, Corbiewood Club member perhaps pre 2004 rule 13c Page 15.you are correct peter but if the man next door to me joins the snfc and flies in the almond valley fed I'm sure the management committee will not put him in sect D?
peter pandy Posted June 27, 2015 Report Posted June 27, 2015 you are correct peter but if the man next door to me joins the snfc and flies in the almond valley fed I'm sure the management committee will not put him in sect D?The rules are rather ambiguous but the committee will probably take into consideration Post Codes on applications for membership.
Guest stb- Posted June 27, 2015 Report Posted June 27, 2015 a lot of boundries ovelap with feds etc and fanciers have moved feds etc to suit them selves in the past
hotrod Posted June 27, 2015 Report Posted June 27, 2015 Your put in sections by what fed you fly in ,but as some say fanciers move Feds for what ever reason ,so it's at snfc committee descretion what Sections those are put in ,I know the snrpc made a rule that because of all the so called moving around to suit started ,that you stay in the same section you were in prior to 2004 ,unless you move your loft then the committee puts you in relevant section .
