good pigeons bad loft wasting your time trying to compete some advice of top flyers on getting small loft right for flying 10 feet by 6 feet loft , and explain to novices bad loft design you have no chance of winning races unless your pigeons escape from basket 1 hour before the rest are liberated lol eagle

Be it a shack, barn or palace the pigeons simply look at it as their home. Avoid overcrowding & dampness and the loft will hit form sometime during the season, getting the ventilation right will enhance & prolong their form.

i have seen many a top loft that had great results , yet would grace the top of any firewood pile. its not the loft that wins the race ,yet the birds within it. :animatedpigeons:

bang on andy if the loft is dry with plenty of air going through it then its just good birds good feeding and good training and a routine that suites you and the birds fancy lofts and boxes make no difference to the birds just the fancier a good fit well fed pigeon will race to a rabbit hutch spend your money on the the best birds you can afford not the best loft yes its nice to look at but it dont mean s t on race day

Whats your thoughts on the distance between cocks and hens ends if racing celobate or widow? Also the choice of trap if sprint racing, is this important when thinking of your loft?

Yip no need for the fanciest materials but a wee biy of thought does no harm?
