Guest TAMMY_1 Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Just home from a really nice break at Conwy Marina, was a lovely modern marina and the dogs loved it as much as we did, visited Llandudno which was a lovely place and a really tidy pier, absolutely no litter of any kind at Conwy or Llandudno, complete opposite of Blackpool and its piers,a few pictures of them, some of the boats on the Marina were on sale from £90,000 to £385,000 but they did look gorgeous.Got a nice pair of young birds for the Higg off the two whites in the photo.

Guest TAMMY_1 Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 part of my old "stomping ground" ,used to take a Llandudno hoteliers daughter out .supplied many items for the forming of the marina too ,happy days . Llandudno was a lovely place Andy and Conwy town itself with the castle was a lovely quaint place,in Conwy we visited the Albion pub which I think was voted the best pub in Britain at one point, lovely pub with no tv, games tables or machines of any sort which was a really nice change as we cannot be bothered with all the rackets you get in most pubs,we also visited the Groes Inn which was the first licensed pub in Wales, another lovely old pub with nice coal fires,Liz actually lived in Wales for a while with her family and her sister was actually born in Wales,we were disapointed with Colwyn Bay as the pier was in a right state badly needing some work done there as it was dead looking without it,although late in the year Llandudno was very busy as was Conwy Marina, we would consider going back there at some point and we also did the Great Orme, what fantastic views you get from up there. Nice photos Tammy thanks Pat,will put some more on .
