I think the only reason JL got back in again is because no one else wanted the job!!! Maybe because a lot of people work on saturday mornings or have young kids and could'nt put themselves forward for the job!!!

I never knew there was a prison there. My grandfather worked in the coal mines as a lad, I know.

 

I don't think there was a lot of crime in the area in those days. I remember a tale he told me as a boy that a local constable was bored with the lack of action: seems he talked a local boy who wasn't any too bright into robbing a grocery store, just so he could make an arrest!   The lad's lawyer got the charges dismissed because of police entrapment! ;D

just a few months ago homer49 said the  fed positions would not be taken up as we were all talk

the members of lanarkshire fed not just  the west section but the members voted in pigeon minded people

jim hannah a well respected fancier not only in lanarkshire but the whole of scotland as the new race controller what a great appointment

homer you lost but get behind the new guys give them a chance as the old guys had there chance

Jim Hannah is a very nice person to nice for the controllers job When a bad race comes and it will and the east and centre sections are baying for blood Jim will jack it in

Dont recall saying any about fed positions not being taken up Do recall your idea of 3 convoyers to look after pigeons Still have JL on his own poor show bart all that talk and no takers including you
