Guest TAMMY_1 Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Was up visiting my mum in Scotland last week and went round to visit a pigeon fancier who was telling me he had to pay £16 for a bag of tic beans and that was when he could get them.
REDCHEQHEN Posted September 28, 2014 Author Report Posted September 28, 2014 This is the first year the farmer had grown maples - and he said they were not easy to grow as they didn't grow very tall, he hadn't harvested this years tic beans yet - as the planned harvest was thwarted by the weather - but was hoping to harvest this coming week He also said he wanted to sell directly to the pigeon fancier (and would limit the tic beans and maples to 10 bags) as he didn't want anyone 'selling on' and increasing the price I put this on here for anyone who might be travelling to the nearby area - the farm is a 32 mile round trip for me but I was passing by anyway
