heard a lot of unhappy people at my local feeding never heard them say they will not fly the west route

quite strange the guys in the west who would benefit the  most moving over to the west dont want to go wonder why!!!!!

hi all,

if some clubs dont want to race then that is there perogative,just like it was the perogative of all fed members to vote on the motion to go west.

the rules are there and the transporter will be there to pick the birds up,go if you like or dont go.SIMPLE.

However if this rule is deleted the president can overrule any democratic vote

To me this smacks of dictatorship

Hi Dovescot

Lanarkshire has an AGM for race program in October then a general AGM

to be held on 24/11/07

The reason for this was that at complete AGMs in the past went on for 5/6 hours

And you are not the only one that does not understand it, or even why something like this was proposed , because I have never known a vote be taken that any minority could ever win, was always the majority, but it will be explained no doubt at the AGM and we will all know the reason then, it is quite intriguing though

Maybe this is aimed at votes where several different motions are considered by the one vote : propasal a = 21 votes, proposal b = 19 votes, proposal c = 22 votes for instance. Now if proposals a+b concerned motions to fly down the east of the country say and proposal c was for down the west side say I could see the point.

 

We all know what happened when the snfc rule came it too play a few years ago when the overwhelming MAJORITY vote was deemed to have failed because of their stupid outdated constitution, the minority prevailed.

Saw this was a constitutional item and wondered if there was a 'percentage present and voting' rule when voting on Lanarkshire's consitution?
