Pigeon Rings

I wanted to know if you could help me in my quest. Me and my father, the late Dennis Sanders whom you may have knowledge of used to collect pigeon rings from the present day and back as far as we could go, at present it is 1908.

 

It was my fathers wish to complete as large a collection as possible so as to show people in future years how the sport has evolved and how the rings used have changed.

 

I am trying to continue in the challenge and need rings from recent years gb 2013,12,11,09,08,07. I also need any scotish,welsh or irish rings as i have none and would like to represent them in my collection.

 

If you could help me or know of anyone else who can help, please pass on my details.

knew him well I entered a white bird when he wanted 50 for the queen to release, was the only one as far as I know from Scotland, the local school adopted the bird and named it PURDEY, still got a few pics of it being released at school sports days, I got a certificate from the queen and so did the school, my bird did home 2 weeks later,

Thank you for the insight it is kind of you, he loved the sport and although did not race any more he used the birds to promote the hobby and do charity work, it was because of this he got to carry the torch in the 2012 games. The high point before his untimely passing last year.

Had some rings today from Mr Jones of Liverpool GB07 AND GB 08 and also some welsh rings to from JB Newport Gwent.

My welsh rings i have are as follows 2014,13,12,11,07,04,01,98,92,87,67.

 

If anyone can help with any missing numbers i would be gratful and i will pay for pand p.
