OLDYELLOW Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 how can you possibly enclose fee's for a club you aint in yet as it's been undecided and agm aint been had as a rise in fees could occur , can't ever remember me asking if any club wanted a blank cheque before I started or joined nor asked fer yearly fees / subs before accepted as a member . In fairness sheppy contact R.P.R.A for a list of clubs secs in your area and decide which one you wish to apply for And if you can find local fanciers in your area they can probably tell you far more about the clubs in your area than a list Good luck
gulkie Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 All you have to do is send a letter or hand a letter to any club official Asking them to join their club ,And at the club AGM it will be decided If they want you as a member most clubs will be delighted to have new Members .
alex young Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 sheppy,Google the RPRA website and click on rule book 2014,read rule 159.atb.

showman Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 If you are applying to a club under RPRA ruling, RULE 159 does indeed state that fees should accompany the membership application. Whilst the applicant may not be aware of the amount of money involved exactly, a gesture of goodwill payment could be offered, which is usually enough. You will also note that it also includes the ruling that an application for membership CANNOT be presented at an AGM.
