the answer to that "me" Is  he was abandoned or as some others would say stabbed in the back. Informed at meeting on Sunday he was banned for one year then gets offical correspondence from shu informing him it is now 2 years, must have been the accountant that typed it out.

Sad, but lets be honest in this day and age who would let their kids get involved with an organistion in Scotland promoting pigeon racing(are they promoting it?) especially when the president of the biggest fed of all time in the history of Scottish pigeon racing can be banned for what at worse would only be described by "NORMAL PEOPLE" as an administrative error(well if you are having a meeting on a Thursday why would you go to the expense to have another meeting a few days earlier i.e. on a thursday  friday or saturday BEFORE A SUNDAY deadline. No wonder some people  find it so difficult trying to get parents to even think about allowing their kids to get a "starters loft"

 

Next "they" will be telling us they want to attract young people to the sport - WHAT A JOKE- the only hope for Scottish Pigeon Racing is if the right people die quickly(if not quietly) amen

i would vote the lot of them off and have it run by a business manager similar to the rpra one man in charge with a right to appeal to a group of delegates that only sit when a case is to be heard

Bart i have tried not to get involved in all thease threads but aggree totaly with you on that one BUT the big problem would be that would just let the we danger man from your fed who has allways been pulling the strings since he moved to the side to manoeuvre   his way back to the top and you,s would be back at sq. 1 when you seen the lengths they went to over the last 5 years to keep one of his own at the top you wonder what they have to hide no one in there right mind would put themself through that unless they had to the mind boggles !!!!!!

I hope the weather is good for the YB season , we all have the birds best interest at heart, ,who really cares who wins young bird races and what corner they come from,if we gwt heavy lossoe with the youngsters a lot of dedicated fanciers may call it a day,good experienced race controllers with their finger on the pulse to see us through this season
