Guest Gareth Rankin Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 I have no problem with basketting put back 24 hours but only in exceptional circumstances in were it is 100% washout, which was definitely not the case this weekend were it was more like 90% chance of a race on both days. I do believe that something should be put in place that no one can act the role of GOD again.

I do believe that something should be put in place that no one can act the role of GOD again. gareth i think we have all become guilty of an obsession for weather forecasts,for the first time in 35 years my dad went with the weather men and also got it wrong,usually he says get them away and this weekend chose to be canny,still had a decent race with 16 first timers away 180mls 11 home 5 yrlings to come. 50 years ago the station master was the race controller and these lads will tell you they got their birds home,food for thought.
