Overnight rain now stopped still dull and gloomy

Having been awakened at 3am by torrential rain stotting off the

windows, there seems to be a lot of surface water lying about in

the street/gardens. Wouldn't be surprised if there is localized

flooding in the Gateshead/Newcastle area as it is still chucking
