BLACK W F Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 IF YOU PAY YOUR £25 TO HAVE A BIRD IN TAMsONE LOFT RACE WHY IS HE KEEPING £500 OUT OF THE MONEY FOR EXPENCES WHEN HE NORMALY RACES 80 BIRDS AND NOW 100 PLUS IF HE DOES TAKE £500 DOES THAT MEAN YOU GET THE ETS RING AS YOU PAID FOR IT THE MIND BOGGLES QUESTIONs QUESTIONs NO END OF QUESTIONS WHEN WILL THERE BE ANSWERS CAN ONLY WAIT AND SEE
billt Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 He's feeding and training the birds, I don't see the problem
BLACK W F Posted October 8, 2009 Author Report Posted October 8, 2009 do you not he is taking £500 out the pot to feed HIS BIRDS and to pay for ETS RINGS FOR HIS BIRDS why he raced a team of 80 last year now looking for some one to fund his y/b season thats my OPINION
billt Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Seemed like a lot of people on here were happy to sign up, the choice is theirs
BLACK W F Posted October 8, 2009 Author Report Posted October 8, 2009 yes it is thats up to them but i certainly wont fund no ones racing with my hard earned and thats a fact
showman Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 I saw this thread last night re : Tams One Loft Race, and I thought it was probably the shrewdest move, by an individual fancier, that I have ever seen !
showman Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Not a problem pjc...bung it on here...give a bit of incentive, like a cash back deal....deal done...free racing !!! The only thing I would suggest you do.......have two one loft races....to cover you for old & young bird season !!

The only thng I would suggest you do.......have two one loft races....to cover you for old & young bird season !! easily arranged, may need the donation of a new loft as mines in need of paint!

blaz Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 I think it is not a bad idea.yes he is taking £500 feed train his birds.he is also taking time to report each race. will it be a bit of fun yes .their will be one or two with big at the end of it yes.is it causing any harm no. we all have a choice to take part or not. i will not take part.i would also not knock it. good luck to all that DOOOOO
showman Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Nowhere did I knock his venture....I simply pointed out that I believe it to be a shrewd move !!
pjc Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Plenty of room but not sure about location, BOP ally here ;D got to keep the food bill down somehow
blaz Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Nowhere did I knock his venture....I simply pointed out that I believe it to be a shrewd move !! never said you did or any one did just said (I would not knock it)
billt Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 got to keep the food bill down somehow I'm already on chicken feed, can't get much cheaper than that :-/
Fair Play Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Think we are all a bit slow if we had shown the same initiative it could have been called "The A-n-other One Loft Race" but Tam has stolen a march on us and good luck to him ;D ;D ;D 8)
pjc Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 I'm already on chicken feed, can't get much cheaper than that :-/ I was thinking, less corn for birds once bop's have had there feed = more profit
showman Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 He certainly 'dangled the carrot' , and quite a few did take a bite !!
