pjc
if more and more members join the NEHU as they are to buy rings and the radius increases then the RPRA will have to do something or price themselves out of the market. Pete, from 1st Jan 2010, transfers £2, foreign ring reg £1, Distances £2, Loft locations £3, Lib site £2.50,

OLDYELLOW
the transfer fee was to cover the cost of there new database and computers surely this should of been paid for by now and should be nil , so the increase is just another rip off by the R.P.R.A , I think the R.P.R.A should be scrapped and made from the membership or at least run by a buisness man to improve racing in the U.K , ex boys club that knows nothing about the fancy has no idea how to move it forward , as long as were goverened by the R.P.R.A the more likely this hobby is going to disapear
Guest lenwadebob
It's time the majority got together and formed a new Union based on fancier requirements and not Holiday funds and Jollies for head office

bewted
its ok to all talk here about it or anywhere, but,no one will ever do anything or get enough fanciers together to do anything at all about it,,,,its been said year in year out,,,,,,,even when i was a fancier from 30 odd years ago,,,,,still no improvement but allways downhill since and will go downhill more yet !!!! jmo

There is nothing to stop anyone forming another union/organisation, and running it as they see fit. The problem is that there will always be those that complain but don't ever seek change by way of action.

If you don't already belong to the oldboys network you havn't got a cat in hells chance and that where the changes have to be made!

OLDYELLOW
the problem lies here they are the union and we cant change that were nothing more than members , and can anyone see a vote by all members to change the way region and head office staff and general manager are elected ???? and dont you think these dinosaurs would over rule any movement to protect the job for the old boys brigade ???? were stuffed they wont regonise a new union , only way would be to start a shadow union build up the membership then affliate the federations then employ staff to do the map jobs , database jobs ectra , devise rules , and give more power back to the pigeonmen who have been neglected for far too long by an out dated regieme run in to the ground by dinasaurs that dont know there extinct yet
Guest lenwadebob
there is as the R.P.R.A wont recognise a new union as a union Does that matter? At this rate there won't be R.P.R.A if members go elsewhere. A Union is only as strong as it's members Mark

A Union is only as strong as it's members Mark you would need to be a R.P.R.A member to compete in races governed by your union theres the problem you cant leave R.P.R.A , join another union as your fed has no affiliation with them which means if you won a race it be void as you arent a member

What could the RPRA do about it if they did!
