pjc Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 anybody paying fee's is a member wether they race or not but same applies at Marking if there are not at least 4 members there nobody can send!
demolition man Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 anybody paying fee's is a member wether they race or not but same applies at Marking if there are not at least 4 members there nobody can send! How would you know how many turned up on marking night? if its not policed
pjc Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 How would you know how many turned up on marking night? if its not policed as normal with most things within pigeon racing nothing would happen until something goes wrong! If the club has only a handfull of members, only 3 turn up they will almost certainly put the birds through, but then another member objects to the result or something else in the club and it hits the fan!
demolition man Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 If a club go'es down to 4 members and is classed as defunked, doe's that mean you can no longer accept more members into the club to get it up and running again?
pjc Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 If a club go'es down to 4 members and is classed as defunked, doe's that mean you can no longer accept more members into the club to get it up and running again? A club has to be wound up in accordance with the rules, everything has to be sold and shared out, the minute books and account go to region, until that the club exists!
kirky Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 If a club go'es down to 4 members and is classed as defunked, doe's that mean you can no longer accept more members into the club to get it up and running again? the club would have to fold first if later you got more members you would then need to apply to your region as a new club,
Fair Play Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Enroll your wives and register birds in her name ;)
Guest frank dooman Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 so if the other 4 cant find a new club that will take them then thats another 4 members gone out of the sport. they can go and basket at another club its only 5 members for basket reasons they can still compete in fed
Guest stb- Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 IS THE NEAREST CLUB IN FED NOT OBLIGED TO TAKE THEM? THINK THEY CAN GO AND HAVE THERE BIRDS RACE MARKED AT ANOTHER CLUB AS THERE HAS TO BE 5 THERE TO MARK THEM, BUT THE NEAREST CANT COMPETE IN NEAREST CLUB IF THERE NOT MEMBERS OBVIOUSLY
Guest stb- Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 If a club go'es down to 4 members and is classed as defunked, doe's that mean you can no longer accept more members into the club to get it up and running again? NOPE YOU WOULD OLY NEED 1 MORE TO GET IT UP AND RUNNING
Guest stb- Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 because he thinkin of packin cause he cant get a club whot club was he in and did the club go under or has he not had a club before
Taylorsloft Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 you only need 4 for basketing and 2 paying shu fees the rest can be made up with members from other clubs ;)

walterbmasson Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 yip but still have to have 5 to mark , why would members of another club go to race mark birds when they can go to the bigger one and all get done at same time RAB you cant get 2 firsts in one club ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Guest frank dooman Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 yip but still have to have 5 to mark , why would members of another club go to race mark birds when they can go to the bigger one and all get done at same time a few of my club members go to the local club to make up no,s they are members of both clubs but send with us robert ive allready asked why the 2 clubs cant at least use the same clubrooms even if they are rpra/shu what difference does it make if it helps members to get there birds away

Guest BRYANBROCK Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 no, a partnership is just 1 member! This statement not quite true about partnerships if you pay 2 fees it counts as 2 members ;)
JADE Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 unfortunately there are many clubs with 5 or 6 members and on the border line as many are getting on in years. nothing to stop a member putting a motion to the shu agm that a fancier of good repute cannot be denied membership of their nearest club. or ask your fed delegate to raise it at next council meeting
Guest stb- Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 This statement not quite true about partnerships if you pay 2 fees it counts as 2 members ;) nope only one vote and dont count as 2 flying members

Guest stb- Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 4 for basketing yip you can basket with 4 of the 5 members present but you still need 5 to have the club
Guest frank dooman Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 so has the shu changed its rule on no of members ? it was allways 5 members for a club and min of 5 for basketing
