Hi everyone, I've just signed up to the site, and I wondered if anyone could help me. I'm after some Putmans and I haven't got a clue if anyone still keeps and does well with them, it'd be great if anyone could help. Cheers, Mick

I have Putmans in Stockport not many like as they are difficult to acquire this old strain. regards to their performances the are reliable homers with sensible training. :002:

Is there any chance you could tell me a bit more about them? I've been after some for a long time. Cheers

My Putmans are mostly blue chequers, medium to large builds. Got one on the sheet from Messac, the birds can do well from short but are better built up with protein's for longer races, they are determined homers and will get home with all sorts of injuries however. They are apple bodied. with yellow eyes and are good to handle. that is about all rearly I can tell you. I have a small family of them. that I race from time to time.
