Plenty of buzzards down here jimmy .never seen them having a go at the pigeons .but all the birds of prey are getting that much outside help think it is only a matter of time before the buzzard has too change it's killing ways

the doos will cock a look at buzzards but there is nothing to fear of them, they feed on carrion and like other bop they are adapting their hunting methods as there are so many of them now but they are adapting to be more like crows and gulls, scavenging and walking in fields looking for insects, worms etc.some would have a go at young rabbits though but i would be very surprised if one ever took a pigeon.

A couple of buzzards were trying to get a pigeon killed by a Gos away from the Gos in a field near here.

would take it that it was not fully fledged bobby4.they're not near quick or agile enough

yes looked very young .still capable of catching a young bird

There are 2 or 3 pair at my back door but don't bother my birds to much ( their to slow my birds mob them ) can't do any harm to any of the bops as over the back from me is a sanctuary and the eyes are every where.twitchers .

I think they have now overtaken the kestrel as the most common bird of prey.

no harm to us, but as numbers increase and food gets more scarce who knows
