just ask me Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Big old wheelie bin buried in the ground, dug out the depth and width then placed the bin in the hole prior to putting in hole i drilled hundreds of holes in the base and the sides of the bin. Put my droppings in it then every now and then i soak with water with a little Jeys fluid added i think the under ground bugs break it down along with the worms etc etc.. whqt about smells
harry h Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Got a row of pine trees at the back of the loft, so dump all the waste at the base of the treeswell away from the loft.
Lennut Tar Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Some goes to allotments, some on my own garden, If I am stuck some goes to landfill at a council tip but we also have an "organic waste bin" collected weekly which contains everything from garden to food waste. I am thinking about this as an additional source. I was just about to give up hope here . Then I found a man who like me is into recycling etc "Organic waste bin" a bit of pigeon sh** mixed in there at the end of the day helps the enviroment, the way I see things.Enjoy.
bibendium Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Local council supply compost bags, no problem filling and taking to recycling centre.
