well they've all taken to each other and the boxes ,which is good .all have freedom now ,except 1 angry cock who keeps jumping into a neighbours nestbox ,he shall be locked in with his hen overnight until she has layed at least .nestbowls in tomorrow :emoticon-0123-party:

all pairs settled down , nest building going on at a great rate . hoping some will be laying in the coming week ? :emoticon-0138-thinking:

 

best of luck mate, i will be weaning some youngsters sometime next week, lets hope i get some weather to let them out lol.

First baby the day, some other pairs sitting but yearlings are slow to get going all they want to do is zip across the sky they are in great strip,this letting them pick their own mates can be a bit hit and miss but its been easier on me.

started laying in the last few days ,currently 5 nests sitting 1 egg :emoticon-0137-clapping:

there all now on 2 , a further 2 nests on 1 this evening . still hopefull I will find a few more tomorrow :animatedpigeons:

put the racers together today , a good clean out . hens in closed side of box , most are new pairings , even the established racing cocks most have a new partner ? hopefully all will go well :emoticon-0138-thinking:

looking to place "racing hens" in there section tomorrow for a "new system" of celibate ? see how it goes ? :emoticon-0138-thinking:
