A friend of mine phoned SHU with regards to stamping youngsters wings ,they said stamp or phone,or adress rings ,what do you lads on here do as you cant send to young bird national with a stamp i am told.

I wing stamp my young birds Phil and when or if I put to the Y/B National I

just rub over the stamp with a marker pen, that's what most folk do.

Andy I can't afford telephone rings, but some might just say that I'm

a miserable bassard. :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

I used a wingstamp for the first 3 years when I started Harry . despite having water-proof one , still had to do them a couple of times each season .have also been grateful for the odd bird returned via "non-fancier" ,only phoned after getting info off phone ring ,may not have happened if stamped ?? :emoticon-0138-thinking:

telephone rings here . :animatedpigeons:

same here,we tried wing stamps, the phone labels that go on the ets rings but none were perfect and found phone rings to be the most reliable
