i would neaver put my yb on darkness m8 why guys would put there birds through something totally against nature to win a yb race is beyoned me and for every one that wins on it i am hearing the majority do nothing as yearlings but everyone to there own its just not for me

Not totally because my old birds are on open hole and still together and have taken more than a dozen eggs away in last few weeks so they must feel ready . But it's no for me winter breeding but all roads lead to Rome .
