philg50 Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 As a matter interest how much do members pay for fed & club dues and rings etc the reason i ask is because the money prizes farer south appear to be far greater than what is flown for up here and i just wondered where the money was generated, is it because of the larger orginisations ,or the price you pay for birdage ,fees or what ,enlighten me .
paddymac Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 We fly with the Nipa here in N. Ireland which is affilliated to the RPRA. Our annual club fees to include RPRA & NIPA is £60 per member. In our club we don't race for any money prizes throughout the season, just diploma's and awards at the presentation night held at the end of the year.
cemetary Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 What price do you pay per bird per race A think they are about 30p per pigeon.
paddymac Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 What price do you pay per bird per raceWe normally pay 50p per bird both OBs and YBs but the price rises to cover the cost of the crates (£9.00) when sending to channel races as there is usally a significant drop in birdage when the channel points come about.
cemetary Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 Why don't pay per birdage per race.
