You have to be careful that cats or birds can not frighten the birds but I think that is obvious. It is important that you realise that the sort of light that comes in through windows or roofing materials is not the same as pure sunlight. It will be deficient of many of the important elements that the birds need to attain top health. You still need to provide the sunshine.
